Intern - Full-Stack Tech

Own: Well-defined engineering tasks, internal tools, testing, automation, and feature support under close mentorship

About ADOSX

The future of automotive retail will not be software-enabled—it will be intelligence-driven and increasingly autonomous.
ADOSX is building a world-class AI-native operating system for automotive retail in India, combining agentic workflows, unified data platforms, and real-time intelligence into a single platform that helps auto-retail operate smarter, faster, and more profitably.
We’re currently a four-member founding team—working directly with customers and building from idea to MVP. Backed by strategic investors from the automotive dealership ecosystem, our ambition is to redefine auto-tech space in the next five years.

This is not a 9-to-5 job. This is a builder's journey.

Joining ADOSX is closer to building a company than joining one. You’ll work directly with founders, own products end-to-end, and experience both the 0→1 and 1→100 journeys while helping shape technology, culture, and customer outcomes.
We believe in high ownership, customer obsession, curiosity, bias for action, and having the courage to challenge assumptions. We value builders over titles and outcomes over hierarchy.

The truth is that early-stage startups are hard.

There will be ambiguity, rapid change, and uncomfortable challenges. But there will also be extraordinary learning, genuine ownership, and the opportunity to create something that outlasts us.

Many people learn more in two years at a company like ADOSX than in ten years elsewhere.

If you want to help redefine how an entire industry operates, we’d love to build ADOSX together.

The Role

This internship is designed for people who love building.
You’re expected to learn quickly, ask thoughtful questions, experiment fearlessly, and ship working software every week.
You’ll work closely with senior engineers on production systems while gradually becoming more independent. We don’t expect you to know everything—we expect you to learn faster than most.
From your first week, you’ll build using AI coding assistants, understand how modern software teams work, and gain exposure across the entire product stack.

What you'll own

Feature Development
Build small but meaningful product features across the backend and frontend under engineering guidance.

Engineering Support
Write APIs, UI components, scripts, dashboards, utilities, and internal tools that improve product quality and team productivity.

Testing & Debugging
Fix bugs, write automated tests, validate edge cases, and improve application stability.

AI-assisted Development
Learn how to effectively use AI coding agents to accelerate development while validating correctness, security, and maintainability.

Documentation
Maintain technical documentation, API notes, setup guides, and engineering runbooks.

Customer Learning
Observe dealership operations, understand real customer workflows, and appreciate how software solves operational problems.

What we're looking for

Computer Science Foundations
Currently pursuing or recently completed an engineering degree or a related field.

Programming Fundamentals
Comfortable with Python or JavaScript through coursework, personal projects, hackathons, or internships.

Problem Solver
Enjoys breaking down problems and figuring things out rather than waiting for complete instructions.

Curious Builder
Builds projects outside academics and enjoys learning new technologies independently.

AI Native Mindset
Already experimenting with AI coding assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Windsurf to improve productivity.

Growth Mindset
Open to feedback, eager to learn, humble, and willing to improve every week.

Nice to have

Personal projects on GitHub
Exposure to Python, Django, React, or Next.js
Basic SQL knowledge
Familiarity with Git and GitHub
Interest in AI, LLMs, or Agentic AI systems
Experience building anything people actually use

You'll Thrive Here If

You love ambiguity more than certainty.
You prefer ownership over instructions.
You think in systems, not tickets.
You enjoy getting your hands dirty with customers.
You learn by building rather than waiting.
You use AI as leverage, not as a substitute for judgment.
You want both the 0→1 and 1→100 journeys.

The Hard Truth

Early-stage startups are hard.
There will be ambiguity, changing priorities, and periods of intense execution because building from zero demands it.
But you’ll own products end-to-end, work directly with founders and customers, and likely learn more in two years than many engineers do in ten.
If building the intelligence layer for Indian automotive retail excites you more than maintaining systems someone else designed, we’d love to build ADOSX together.
